Earlier this week I shared with you this amazing recipe for steak tacos and since we have been having some amazing weather lately, I wanted to share the best strawberry mojito that my hubby loves to make me and goes so well with those tacos! It’s perfect for sipping on your deck or porch swing too!

Seriously, he must have been a bartender in another life because there are no cocktails that compare to his.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 a lime
  • 5 mint leaves
  • 2 strawberries
  • 3 tsp sugar
  • 2 ounces of Bacardi
  • A splash of mojito cocktail mix
  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Take the 1/2 lime (skin and all), mint leaves, strawberries and 3 tsp of sugar and crush them in a cocktail shaker with the muddler. This will create most of the juice for the drink. The best strawberry mojito 3 The Best Strawberry Mojito
  2. Add the Bacardi, a splash of mojito mix and ice into the shaker and shake. shaker The Best Strawberry Mojito
  3. Then poor the mixture into your favorite glass. You can strain it for a “fancy” get together or leave it “dirty” for your friends. I like to add a couple of sliced strawberries in it myself.
